Lost Cities

Camerons World is a web collage built with images and texts found on the GeoCities pages created between 1994 and 2009. GeoCities was a web-hosting service that made it possible for people to build their own home pages.

Lost Cities is a analysis of the early internet using the archiving world of Cameron’s World. Websites that once existed showed us the cultural beginings of early internet culture. As we move foward to a reality rooted within digital realms its up to us to archive, treasure and maintain internet histories.
